The Anglo-German, papyrokinetic, nezumimi half of the park ranger team. She was born to a deaf mum and the only hearing member of a deaf family. With, you know, Read or Die powers. Thanks to this, as well as another incident in an Underground station, she was subject to a stressful and abusive series of experiments during her childhood, the frequency of which exponetially increased until she was 17, just before the pandemic. These gave her more control of her powers but blursed her with mouse features. This may have also given her a caffeine dependency in her later years.
Another definite consequence of this was her going to St. Herzeloyde's High School for Pernicious Youths, a sort of private school for teenaged WMDs. This is where she met Gibflammus "Gary" Padtzuner, some guy with ties to an alien mafia, daddy issues due in part to said alien mafia and a love for situation comedy. And that's where it all started. Gary's "doesn't talk to anyone" thing drew her to him (platonically, though they dated for a bit in Year 10) but his cool attitude and infallible optimism kept them together.
The slovenly, EM-spectrum-manipulating alien one. Real name Gibflammus Padtzuner, he lived on Tetrilles for the first few years of his life. He moved to Earth in 2007, after an incident with the Tetrillian mafia. For his secondary educaton, he had to go to St. Herzeloyde's since being a alien mobster's son with the ability to control any frequency is, er, not good!
Meeting Winnie was, accotding to Gary, a pivotal moment in his life.
Before they met, Gary was a shy, nervous wreck, scarcely speaking,
always reading. Winnie was just a slightly traumatized lab mouse girl.
Her life would've been fine if they never met. His life? He
really doesn't want to know. They originally parted ways in year 11:
Gary went to Tetrilles for
assisting in money laundering "community service" while
Winnie got practically tortured in a laboratory.
They met just before COVID in a wheat field under strange circumstances.
Now, they work as the Wod's violation-fighting park
ranger duo.
